Job Summary: This professional will provide pedagogical support in Portuguese language for Lower and Upper Secondary Education, assist with daily school routines and discipline, and collaborate on cultural projects and administrative tasks. An environment that consistently pursues pedagogical improvement and innovation. **Job Description:** **Target Audience:** Lower Secondary Education (EFAF) and Upper Secondary Education. Specific Pedagogical Support (Portuguese Language) * Classroom Support: Assist the lead teacher during grammar, literature, and text comprehension lessons and exercises, circulating throughout the classroom to promptly address students’ questions. * Writing Laboratory: Guide students’ written productions, advising on structure, cohesion, coherence, and standard language usage throughout the writing process (drafting and revision). * Doubt Clinic / Reinforcement Sessions: Conduct individual or small-group sessions for students experiencing learning gaps or requiring parallel remediation. * Assisted Grading: Help screen and perform preliminary grading of assignments, exercise lists, and mock exams according to the lead teacher’s answer key or established criteria. * Reading Promotion: Support literary projects, reading circles, classroom library organization, and book recommendations for college entrance exams. Daily Routine and Discipline (EFAF and Upper Secondary) * Entry and Exit Procedures: Assist in organizing student flow at gates and hallways, ensuring safety and compliance with dress code and schedule regulations. * Deadline and Schedule Management: Monitor submission deadlines for assignments and essays via online platforms or physical planners, alerting students and coordination staff about recurring delays. * Recess Supervision: Supervise students during breaks (recess), proactively preventing bullying, vandalism, or inappropriate behavior, and reporting serious incidents to Educational Guidance. * Exam Proctoring: Assist in monitoring exams, mock tests, and evaluative activities to ensure procedural integrity. Operational and Event Support * Cultural Projects: Collaborate operationally and pedagogically in organizing area-related events (Literary Fairs, Poetry Slams, poetry contests, and cultural scavenger hunts). * Audiovisual Resources: Prepare equipment and materials (projectors, speakers, printed handouts) required for Portuguese language classes. * Student Welcoming and Mediation: Welcome students with respect and authority, mediating typical adolescent interpersonal conflicts before escalating them to Coordination.
