We operate in an agile and collaborative environment. **Key responsibilities of the role:** Actively participate in the entire product development lifecycle (definition, planning, development, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance). Additionally, it is essential to lead initiatives autonomously. **Responsibilities and duties** **Your day-to-day at Conta Simples:** * Own the full software development lifecycle autonomously; * Apply software development best practices and code design principles to ensure quality and maintainability across both new and existing projects; * Independently define and implement solutions that meet quality requirements; * Contribute to the growth and development of fellow engineers; * Lead initiatives, technical decisions, and cross-functional alignment autonomously; * Monitor and operate production systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and quality; * Critically leverage AI tools (e.g., code assistants, agents, and automations) to accelerate delivery while maintaining code quality, security, and maintainability standards; * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, providing technical insights and contributing to product strategy. **Requirements and qualifications** **What we expect from you:** * Solid experience in software development and architecture; * Strong command of object-oriented programming (OOP) and best practices such as SOLID, Design Patterns, and Clean Code; * Experience with Node.js and TypeScript (or Java, Kotlin, or Go); * Knowledge and hands-on experience with React and React Native; * Solid expertise in automated testing (Jest, Mocha, Testing Library, etc.); * Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases; * Familiarity with Cloud Computing (AWS Serverless is a plus); * Proficiency in communication protocols, REST APIs, and integration best practices; * Practical experience using AI tools within the development workflow—including critical evaluation of AI-generated outputs—and ability to contribute to evolving AI skills and AI agents in the software development lifecycle; * Proactive mindset, with autonomy to lead initiatives and propose improvements. **Nice-to-have qualifications:** * ****Experience in Account Opening within Fintech. **Additional information** **Check out (some of) the benefits of being a Simpler:** National health insurance plan with no monthly premium and copayment coverage for our \#Simplers and up to \+2 legal dependents National dental insurance plan with no monthly premium and copayment coverage for our \#Simplers and up to \+2 legal dependents Flex food benefit via iFood Benefits card Remote work allowance via iFood Benefits card Wellhub access extended to legal dependents (children and spouses) Birthday-off (to celebrate your special day with loved ones!)
