Job Summary: School cafeteria assistant responsible for preparing, organizing, and distributing snacks and meals to students in accordance with hygiene standards, as well as cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and equipment. Contribution to a welcoming environment during meals A school cafeteria assistant is responsible for preparing, organizing, and distributing snacks and meals to students, following nutritional guidelines and food hygiene and safety regulations. They perform cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen, utensils, and equipment to ensure a suitable environment for food handling. They also assist in inventory control, checking product expiration dates and reporting replenishment needs. Additionally, they contribute to a welcoming atmosphere during meal times by attending to students attentively and carefully. Sanitization of countertops, sinks, and surfaces; Washing of utensils (plates, cups, cutlery, pots); Cleaning of stoves, refrigerators, and other equipment; Organization of the area after food preparation and distribution; Proper disposal of waste.
