Support the production of cakes, pies, candies, and desserts. Sort and organize necessary ingredients and supplies. Assist in the assembly and finishing of bakery products. Properly package, label, and store products. Monitor expiration dates and quality of produced items. Maintain a clean and organized environment, utensils, and equipment. Assist in simple cake and candy decoration. Follow recipes and instructions from the lead pastry chef. Adhere to food hygiene and safety standards. Previous experience as a Bakery Helper, Kitchen Assistant, Junior Pastry Chef, or Baker may indicate suitability for some duties of this position. High school diploma required.
