Description
The first thing you need to know is that here you won’t fall into routine. Radix develops solutions for companies across diverse sectors and industries. Each project has its own technologies, solutions, and deadlines, giving you the opportunity to work on and experience different challenges. In addition to our presence across Brazil—with offices in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and Belo Horizonte—we also have subsidiaries in the United States, further consolidating Radix as a **global** company.
Do you want to be part of this story and turn ideas and dreams into reality?
**As a Senior Data Engineering Professional, you will:**
--------------------------------------------------------------
* Design, map, and maintain robust, scalable, and well-documented data models, connecting structured, semi-structured, unstructured, and time-series data sources.
* Support the definition of semantic models, ontologies, and relationship structures among business entities, assets, events, documents, metrics, and other information domains.
* Structure and optimize data delivery layers for consumption by digital applications, APIs, backend services, search engines, dashboards, analytical models, and AI components.
* Build, maintain, and evolve ETL/ELT data pipelines, ensuring data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and availability for various use cases.
* Perform analysis, tuning, and refactoring of complex queries to reduce processing time, improve performance, and optimize resource consumption in large-volume analytical environments.
* Carry out data mapping between source systems and consumption models, ensuring compliance with business rules, data quality, consistency, and traceability.
* Support the creation of data schemas and physical/logical structures for implementing models in databases, data warehouses, data lakes, data platforms, or analytical consumption layers.
* Work with corporate, operational, and/or industrial data—including, where applicable, asset, event, historical, metric, and time-series data.
* Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Tech Leads, Developers, Product Owners, and AI specialists to translate functional and technical requirements into scalable, reusable data solutions.
* Ensure best practices in technical governance, data lineage, documentation, versioning, and data quality across the entire data lifecycle—from source to consumption.
* Proactively identify and resolve technical bottlenecks related to data, integrations, queries, modeling, performance, and information delivery.
* Contribute to advancing the data maturity of projects by proposing standards, best practices, automation, and continuous improvements to delivered solutions.
**For this position, you must have:**

* Advanced SQL proficiency, including building complex queries, performance optimization, tuning, execution plan analysis, and best practices for large-volume environments.
* Experience with relational, dimensional, and/or semantic modeling—including defining entities, relationships, hierarchies, attributes, business rules, and consumption structures.
* Practical experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformation flows, data cleansing, and integration.
* Knowledge of Python or an equivalent language for data manipulation, automation, integration, and advanced analytics.
* Experience with relational databases, cloud-based analytical environments, or enterprise data platforms.
* Ability to map complex business requirements and operational processes and translate them into scalable models, schemas, queries, pipelines, and data structures.
* Familiarity with API, SDK, and application-to-data-layer integration concepts.
* Knowledge of best practices for data quality, validation, documentation, traceability, and technical governance.
* Advanced English for conversation, reading technical documentation, and interacting with international stakeholders.
* A hands-on, analytical, collaborative, and delivery-oriented profile, with autonomy to handle end-to-end data-related problems.
**It’s a plus if you have:**
* Experience with digital products based on search, recommendation, data exploration, knowledge graphs, or information contextualization.
* Experience with industrial data platforms, sensor data, time-series data, physical assets, maintenance, operations, or OT/IT environments.
* Knowledge of ontologies, knowledge graphs, semantic modeling, or structuring complex information domains.
* Experience integrating SAP data, enterprise systems, data warehouses, data lakes, or DataOps platforms.
* Experience with performance and optimization in environments such as BigQuery, PostgreSQL, SAP HANA, Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or similar.
* Experience with data orchestration and transformation tools such as Airflow, dbt, Spark, DataStage, Alteryx, KNIME, or equivalents.
* Knowledge of visualization and self-service analytics tools—such as Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, or Metabase—for prototyping and validating analyses.
* Experience with Git, analytical code versioning, CI/CD, or data-engineering practices.
* Experience working in agile teams alongside software engineering, product, architecture, QA, and business areas.
