Responsibilities and Duties: * Operate, monitor, and control, via centralized control panels, the operation of cement mills and mining area processes/production, ensuring adherence to defined production and quality parameters; * Start up, maintain, and adjust the operation of cement mills and primary crushers, monitoring process and quality variables; * Prepare operational reports and trend charts, analyzing historical data to support decision-making; * Provide technical leadership to area operators and collaborate with mechanical and electrical maintenance teams, guiding preventive and corrective actions; * Record and analyze equipment failures, complete downtime spreadsheets and production reports; * Report anomalies to immediate supervisors and propose improvements to optimize processes; * Monitor and ensure the supply of raw material hoppers and silos, as well as cement grinding operations; * Collect and verify operator checklists, ensuring compliance with operational routines; * Request or perform electrical lockouts for equipment cleaning and maintenance, in accordance with safety procedures; * Assume operational leadership during pre-defined shifts, ensuring continuity of operations and medium-complexity decision-making under management supervision; * Participate in daily safety meetings and dialogues, promoting alignment and a prevention-oriented culture; * Ensure personal and collective safety by complying with regulations and using appropriate PPE. Requirements and Qualifications: * Education: Technical degree in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related fields; * A bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related disciplines is an advantage; * Prior experience in cement plants is desirable.
