Mechanical Engineer Santa Rosa de Viterbo - SP Purpose of the Role Responsible for executing mechanical engineering project and maintenance activities, and supporting the engineering manager and team across mechanical, civil, structural steel, electrical, instrumentation, and automation disciplines to ensure optimal plant operation. Key Responsibilities * Develop and manage mechanical, civil, and other applicable engineering projects. * Execute projects and coordinate assembly teams. * Commission, test, and perform start-up of mechanical equipment, automation systems, and instruments. * Knowledge of mechanical technology and engineering design. * Proficiency in AutoCAD software. * Sizing of centrifugal pumps and structural steel. * Serve as equipment inspector to certify mechanical equipment per project requirements. * Complete data sheets, specify equipment, and create material and equipment requisitions. * Provide technical support to plant operations and maintenance departments. * Document and share engineering documents with other plant departments. * Apply national, international, corporate engineering standards and good engineering practices during project execution. * Support multidisciplinary teams and promote new continuous improvement (CI) projects.
