Responsible for providing specialized technical support during the design, supervision, and monitoring phases of mechanical systems, rotating and static equipment, and industrial installations, as well as for Safety, Environment, and Health (SMS) management. Engages in preparing mechanical technical documentation, analyzing piping, machinery, and thermodynamic process designs and reports, and supporting the supervision of mechanical installation and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and requirements. **Design and Documentation** * Prepare and review single-line/multi-line diagrams, interconnections, cable lists, panel/ MCC layouts, lighting, outlets, grounding, and lightning protection systems (SPDA). * Produce specifications, technical memoranda, material take-offs (MTO/BOQ), schedules, and data books; coordinate with mechanical, instrumentation, automation, and civil disciplines. * Ensure compliance with applicable standards and client requirements (ABNT/NBR 5410, 14039, NR-10/12/35, IEC, ISA, Petrobras/Transpetro standards, where applicable). **Field Supervision** * Monitor execution, verify RDOs/measurements, as-built documentation, and installation quality (cables, cable trays, panels, motors, VFDs/soft-starters, MCCs, lighting, grounding, SPDA). * Identify and address non-conformities; guide corrective actions and validate rework. **Commissioning and Testing** * Plan and perform tests: continuity/insulation, hi-pot, torque verification, loop-check, functional/interlock, protection, and start-up tests. * Support safe energization and handover to operation, with complete documentation. **Risk and SMS Management** * Conduct JSA/JHA and PTW procedures, implement LOTO, assess electrical and arc-flash hazards; ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with NR regulations. * Audit behaviors and conditions; immediately record, report, and address critical deviations to SUPERVISION; conduct daily safety talks (DDS) and share lessons learned. **Client Interface and Scope Management** * Align requirements, respond to RFI/RFCs, participate in technical and progress meetings. * Support measurement, scheduling, and scope change activities related to the electrical discipline. **Quality and Deliverables** * Standardize, review, and ensure document traceability. * Consolidate technical reports, photographic records, test reports, and the final data book.
