Job Summary: Professional responsible for delivering linens, patient kits, and hospital garments; managing materials inventory; handling telephone inquiries; and overseeing departmental routines. Key Highlights: 1. Complete elementary education 2. No prior experience required 3. Inclusion of diverse candidate groups **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** 1\. Deliver linens and companion kits for post-hospital discharge, ICU, and surgical centers; perform medical comfort bedding; conduct bed visits twice weekly via daily morning and afternoon census; replenish linens and satellite laundry areas (arsenals); ensure safety and quality in bed preparation for admissions; 2\. Deliver discharge kits after hospital discharge; 3\. Participate in inventory audits, assisting with material control and reporting to supervisors whether items comply with institutional standards; 4\. Answer internal and corporate phone extensions, gather necessary information to fulfill requests, clearly communicate relevant data, and confirm resolution to deliver appropriate services within the department; 5\. Deliver bath kits to patients and linen kits to companions; process additional item requests; verify that bath kit items meet demand requirements; replace companion kits weekly to ensure departmental compliance; 6\. Deliver private-use garments, pack garment sets, and perform daily control and delivery; 7\. Conduct daily shift handovers verbally and in writing, validating information regarding schedule changes and promptly informing supervisors of any equipment issues in patient rooms; 8\. Manage lost-and-found departmental routines, including tracking lost personal belongings for donation after 30 days in the department; control laundry materials; handle return and distribution of keys for fixed and rotating lockers; verify key return logs; and email coordination regarding unreturned rotating locker keys to notify department leadership about missing locker keys, preventing key shortages for the next shift. Elementary education completion is required.
