**POSITION DESCRIPTION:** As a field technician, you will apply expertise in electrical systems and automation to perform installation, inspection, refurbishment, and upgrades of food processing equipment at the numerous JBT Marel customer facilities across South America. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** Coordinate the activities of assembly teams working on equipment or processing line installations; Coordinate inspection and component replacement services according to pre\-established schedules; Ensure all work steps comply strictly with JBT Marel’s rigorous safety policies; Provide local and remote technical support to customers experiencing issues with their equipment; Willingness to undertake frequent domestic and international travel. **MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:** * Technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and/or Mechatronics; * Knowledge of corrective and predictive maintenance for industrial equipment; * Familiarity with PLC systems, HMIs, servo motors, and/or frequency inverters; * Strong communication skills; * Ability to work effectively in a team. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** * Experience in food, dairy, or beverage processing environments; * Basic knowledge of Spanish; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications as a basic user
