Automation Technician III **Date:** April 16, 2026 **Location:** Rio de Janeiro, BR **Company:** Ternium **Job Description:*** Perform activities in the Maintenance Management System (SAP) — create, log hours, and close maintenance orders. * Comply with and promote safety, environmental, occupational health, and compliance standards and procedures, as well as work instructions, ensuring individual and collective safety and well-being. * Perform activities in the Maintenance Management System (SAP) — create material reservations and execute maintenance order planning. * Review the list of equipment (assets) registered in the SAP system. * Review the list of spare parts registered in the SAP system. * Read and interpret functional electrical diagrams and process and automation diagrams. * Conduct Failure Analysis and develop action and contingency plans. * Perform Automation Maintenance Level 1 and 2 activities according to ISA95 standard. * Load PLC programs and diagnose issues using logic. * Inspect and perform activities related to industrial automation. * Develop scope and technical specifications for procurement of materials and repair services. * Develop engineering applications for automation control systems. * Install and use automation engineering systems. * Develop PLC logic for fault correction and improvements. * Execute implementation of maintenance improvement projects. * Contribute to 5S methodology practices involving: Use, Organization, Cleaning, Standardization, and Discipline in the workplace Prerequisites: Completed technical education in Automation and/or related fields. Valid CFT. Experience in the described activities.
