




Description: Job Description: Automation Engineer to develop and implement industrial automation solutions as well as support budget estimation, covering PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, instrumentation and electrical controls, from technical conception to final commissioning. Responsible for designing, integrating and estimating costs of control systems, ensuring the technical and financial feasibility of company projects. Main Responsibilities: * Develop automation architecture (PLC, HMI, SCADA and networks) according to process and customer requirements; * Program and configure Siemens (Step7, TIA Portal) and Rockwell (ControlLogix, Studio 5000\) controllers; * Create operator interfaces and SCADA systems (WinCC, FactoryTalk View SE/ME, TIA Portal including Unified); * Integrate drives, soft starters, remote I/O and intelligent instruments (Profinet, Profibus, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP); * Size and specify process instrumentation (pressure, flow, level, temperature, conductivity, control valves, etc.); * Interpret and review P\&IDs, electrical diagrams, I/O lists and interlocks; * Configure and calibrate instruments, validating analog and digital signals; * Prepare technical automation budgets, including material take-off, labor hours and indirect costs; * Participate in technical and commercial meetings with clients, clarifying scope and interdisciplinary interface issues; * Plan and execute validation tests (FAT/SAT), ensuring compliance with scope and integration quality; * Document test reports, pending items and corrective action plans; * Support operational and maintenance training for end customers; * Support the creation of internal automation and instrumentation manuals and standards; Education: Bachelor's degree completed in Automation and Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field. Mandatory Requirements: Proven experience in the role of Automation Engineer. Desirable Requirements: Experience in engineering, construction or industrial service companies. Availability required to work in São José dos Campos, with willingness to travel frequently.
