We are seeking an **Area Operator** to join our team at the **Seropédica** plant (**Gás Verde**). **Responsibilities and Duties** * Conduct field rounds and inspections of equipment and facilities, identifying anomalies, leaks, abnormal noises, and unsafe conditions; * Perform routine inspections, monitoring levels, flow rates, pressures, temperatures, and other operational parameters; * Identify anomalies and promptly inform the operations and maintenance teams when necessary; * Monitor process parameters (pressure, flow rate, temperature, methane, oxygen, H₂S, humidity), record data, and immediately report deviations; * Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities; * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Technical degree in an industrial field; * Ability to read and interpret instruments used in process plants; * Knowledge of automation, instrument reading, and fundamentals of thermodynamics, flow, and processes; * Basic computer skills (Windows and Office); * Minimum 1 year of experience operating chemical or petrochemical plants; * Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors. **Additional Information** * Meal/Voucher allowance via a single benefits card; * Health and dental insurance; * Transportation allowance; * Life insurance; * Total Pass.
