Job Summary:
Responsible for conducting laboratory tests on cement/concrete following regulatory guidelines, ensuring test repeatability and reproducibility, and contributing to process improvements.
Key Highlights:

3. Contribute to improvements and controls aimed at reducing test variability.
**Summary**
Responsible for conducting tests aligned with regulatory guidelines in the cement/concrete line, ensuring repeatability and reproducibility of such tests.
**Position Responsibilities**
* Perform concrete, cement, and mortar testing under the supervisor's guidance and in compliance with current standards;
* Conduct periodic variability testing of both procedures and equipment to minimize result deviations and maintain an updated database containing the historical records of such results;
* Use all required personal protective equipment (PPE) for task execution;
* Keep all test reports up to date and saved in locations specified by the supervisor;
* Maintain cleanliness of the concrete and mortar laboratories;
* Ensure concrete and mortar laboratory equipment remains in good working condition.
* Monitor and control inventory of concrete and mortar laboratory supplies, and notify the supervisor in advance when replenishment is needed;
* Contribute to improvements and controls that reduce variability in conducted tests.
**Required Experience/Education/Certifications**
Experience: 1 year of experience in chemical construction or civil engineering laboratory activities
Education: Technologist degree in Civil Construction (in progress or completed), Civil Engineering (in progress or completed), Building Technician (in progress or completed), and/or Chemistry Technician (in progress or completed).
