Job Summary: A professional focused on 2D/3D sheet metal design, interpretation of technical drawings, and optimization of sheet material utilization. Key Highlights: 1. Focus on 2D and 3D sheet metal design, laser cutting, and bending 2. Interpret drawings and perform sheet nesting using software 3. Support and control of drawing and cutting/bending processes * Focus on 2D and 3D sheet metal design, laser cutting, and bending. * Interpret drawings and perform sheet nesting (optimal arrangement of parts/puzzle-like layout) using software; * Preparation of DWG and PDF files for other departments; * Physical sheet verification to support the cutting department; * Support/control of drawing and cutting/bending processes. * Currently pursuing a Technical Course in Drafting, Mechanical Design, or related fields. * Ability to read and interpret provided technical drawings; * Basic to intermediate knowledge of relevant software; * Sheet nesting using software, basic mathematical calculations, and Excel spreadsheets.
