Interpret assembly diagrams and technical drawings The **Electromechanical Technician** is the professional responsible for planning, designing, executing, inspecting, and installing machines and equipment; and also performing maintenance and welding of parts and machines, as well as interpreting assembly diagrams and technical drawings. **REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:** * Technical knowledge: A maintenance electromechanical technician must possess technical knowledge in areas such as electronics, electrotechnics, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics to perform maintenance on electromechanical equipment. * Knowledge of standards and regulations: A maintenance electromechanical technician must be familiar with standards and regulations related to maintenance and occupational safety, such as NR\-10, which addresses safety in electrical installations. * Computer knowledge: A maintenance electromechanical technician must possess computer skills to use maintenance management software, spreadsheets, and other data control and analysis tools. * Knowledge of measurement tools and equipment: A maintenance electromechanical technician must understand the measurement tools and equipment used in maintenance, to know how to use them correctly and interpret the obtained results. * Inventory management knowledge: A maintenance electromechanical technician must understand inventory management of parts and materials used in maintenance, to control stock levels and avoid material shortages during maintenance activities. Responsibilities * Plan, design, execute, inspect, and install machines and equipment; * Perform maintenance on parts, equipment, and machines, as well as interpret assembly diagrams and technical drawings; * Verify materials and parts for installation; * Check conditions for machine and equipment installation; * Coordinate machine and equipment installation; * Evaluate operational conditions of each installed or maintained equipment; * After installation, train users on operating installed machines and equipment.
