We want to meet you! **Responsibilities and Assignments** **Your Role as a Protagonist of Transformation:** * Develop and evolve Java applications, focusing on quality, scalability, resilience, and security. * Perform evolutionary maintenance and modernization of corporate Java-based systems. * Analyze technical requirements and design solutions for highly complex demands. * Identify bottlenecks, technical risks, and opportunities for improvement in architecture and code. * Ensure development best practices, code reviews, standardization, and technical quality of deliverables. * Contribute to the evolution of web applications using Angular 8\+/React, delivering technical excellence, well-organized code, and seamless frontend-backend integration. * Build and optimize SQL queries, prioritizing performance, clarity, data integrity, and efficient data access. * Collaborate with DBAs on relational databases, contributing best practices in modeling, query reading, and writing. * Work with application servers such as WildFly, Liberty, and similar platforms—supporting configuration, troubleshooting, and technical evolution of application runtime environments. * Mentor less experienced developers by providing technical guidance and promoting best practices. * Implement integrations between internal and external systems, emphasizing reliability, security, and traceability. * Actively participate in resolving complex incidents and high-impact business problems. * Contribute technically to the continuous evolution of the company’s products and software engineering practices. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What We’re Looking for to Strengthen Our \#TopazTeam:** Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related fields. * Solid experience in Java development. * Experience with Java and enterprise application servers. * Knowledge of Angular 8\+ or React. * Strong knowledge of SQL and best practices for query development and data manipulation. * Experience with relational databases. * Hands-on experience integrating systems, APIs, and enterprise services. * Experience with code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing. * Familiarity with version control, continuous integration, and software delivery best practices. * Experience with troubleshooting and problem analysis in production environments. * Knowledge of secure development and software quality principles. Desirable: * Experience in banking, financial, or mission-critical transactional systems. * Experience modernizing legacy systems and evolving corporate applications. * Knowledge of distributed architecture and scalable systems. * Experience with non-relational databases. * Experience with cloud and hybrid environments. * Prior involvement with observability, performance tuning, and advanced application diagnostics. * Knowledge of React. **Additional Information** Your experience at Topaz is our top priority!
