**Position: Special Education Assistant – Colégio São Luís Guanella** Schedule: 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM **Position exclusively for Persons with Disabilities (PCD)** Colégio São Luís Guanella seeks a professional to work as a Special Education Assistant, providing support to students in Special Education, promoting accessibility, participation, safety, autonomy, and inclusion within the school environment. Main responsibilities: * Accompany the student throughout their daily school routine, including transitions and daily activities; * Assist in participation and interaction during pedagogical and social activities; * Provide support for functional needs—such as feeding, hygiene, mobility, and organization of materials—when necessary; * Conduct behavioral, emotional, and social mediation, contributing to the student’s well-being and adaptation; * Collaborate with teachers, pedagogical coordination, and the broader school team; * Maintain an ethical, welcoming, and respectful attitude, preserving the student’s dignity and individuality. Desired qualifications: * Completed high school education; * Affinity with the field of school inclusion; * Responsibility, empathy, and emotional balance; * Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team; * Prior experience in school mediation and/or Special Education is desirable.
