Promotion of innovation and continuous improvement **Main Responsibilities:** Be responsible for the technical quality of deliverables, supporting architectural decisions, development standards, and sound engineering practices Act as an active agent in the technological evolution of projects and platforms, proposing stack modernization and adoption of new practices, with a strong focus on AI-first approaches Lead and influence the evolution of technological landscapes by evaluating trends (AI applied to development, automation, engineering platforms) and guiding decisions aligned with strategy Promote the use of AI throughout the development lifecycle (e.g., copilots, code generation, test automation, log analysis, squad productivity), enhancing efficiency and quality Handle technical orchestration of projects, ensuring alignment among scope, timeline, quality, and technical feasibility Lead and evolve squads, fostering engineering excellence, autonomy, and a culture of continuous improvement Define and track technical roadmaps and delivery metrics (DORA, throughput, lead time, etc.) Support the adoption of modern practices such as CI/CD, automation, observability, and Spec-Driven Development (SDD) Work closely with teams to understand architecture, integrations, and data flows, serving as a technical reference for critical decisions Coordinate project execution, ensuring clarity of scope, deadlines, and priorities Facilitate rituals and remove impediments to maintain delivery flow Support the Operations Manager in team formation and allocation, including participation in technical interviews Conduct client alignment sessions, translating needs into technically viable solutions Support open-scope management, bringing predictability based on engineering practices Ensure governance and dissemination of technical guidelines across squads Generate and organize data and reports to support decision-making. **What We Expect From You:** Prior experience as a Senior Developer or Tech Lead Strong expertise in software engineering and hands-on experience with agile teams (squads) Ability to operate at both technical and strategic levels (product/business vision) Experience with multiple tech stacks (e.g., Java + Spring, Angular, React or similar) Experience in technical leadership—even informal (mentoring, code reviews, standard definition) Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams, stakeholders, and clients **Nice-to-Haves:** Experience coordinating multiple squads or distributed teams Experience with Spec-Driven Development (SDD) or contract-oriented/predefined-approach methodologies Familiarity with modern tools and practices such as Harness (CI/CD, feature flags, observability) Knowledge of engineering platforms (DevEx, Developer Platforms) Experience with modern architectures (microservices, event-driven, APIs-first) Involvement in digital transformation or technological modernization contexts **Location:** São Paulo/SP — 4 days per week. **Why Build Your Career at Meta?** We offer autonomy, clear goals, and a dynamic, challenging environment where professionals have opportunities to interact with diverse technologies, participate in all types of projects, bring new ideas, and work from anywhere in Brazil—and why not, the world.
