Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and adherence to development best practices Description: What we need for our perfect match: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields; * Proven practical experience of at least five years in PHP application development and maintenance, especially in legacy systems; * Solid knowledge of both older and newer PHP versions, as well as classic frameworks (e.g., Zend, CakePHP, CodeIgniter, Symfony, or Laravel); * Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle); * Practical experience with financial systems, including banking integrations and payment slips; * Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and continuous integration practices; * Ability to work with legacy code, refactoring when necessary; * Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively in teams; * Analytical, resilient profile with a strong focus on problem resolution. In your day-to-day, we expect you to handle the following processes: * Evolutionary and Corrective Maintenance: Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance on legacy PHP systems, ensuring stability, performance, and alignment with business needs; * Analysis and Problem Resolution: Identify bugs, investigate root causes, and implement efficient solutions; * Development of Improvements: Implement enhancements to existing functionalities and address new business requirements; * API and Service Integration: Ensure proper integration of PHP systems with external APIs, databases, and other systems; * Technical Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation describing changes and developments implemented; * Team Collaboration: Work alongside multidisciplinary teams, including QA, product, and other developers, to ensure aligned, high-quality deliveries; * Development Best Practices: Apply best practices in version control, testing, and code review—even in legacy environments. 2511120202181511398
