Description
We are looking for a **Senior Generative AI Engineer** to join one of our strategic financial sector clients, as part of a Data & AI Engineering team whose mission is to transform data into intelligent, reusable products that enhance the company’s digital ecosystem and empower other teams to build smarter applications.
In this role, you will adopt a **data product mindset**: delivering standardized, well-architected outputs designed for consumption by generative AI systems, autonomous agents, and other applications drawing from the Data Lake. Our core belief is that high-quality, well-structured data with clear contracts forms the foundation for truly effective generative AI.
**Responsibilities and duties**
* Design and deliver data products with well-defined architecture, human-readable data contracts, and clear consumption standards for other teams.
* Structure and expose Data Lake data so it can be consumed by generative AI systems, enriching and improving model context accuracy.
* Implement data delivery solutions using techniques such as RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), AI Agents, and MCP (Model Context Protocol).
* Ensure clear, versioned data contracts to facilitate consumption by product and engineering teams.
* Collaborate with other teams to understand their data needs and ensure delivered products align with use cases.
* Implement and maintain monitoring for generative AI solutions.
* Guarantee observability of services (e.g., MCP services) via OpenTelemetry and other tools in the observability stack.
* Contribute to defining and evolving the team’s data product architecture standards.
* Build or maintain data pipelines when required.
**Requirements and qualifications**
* Proven experience with generative AI (RAG, Agents, LLMs, context, and embeddings).
* Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) and autonomous agent architectures.
* Experience with LangFuse for monitoring and traceability of generative AI solutions.
* Hands-on experience with vector databases (PGVector, Qdrant, ChromaDB, or similar).
* Understanding of data product architecture and data contract definition.
* Experience with AWS as the primary cloud platform (S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, Bedrock, SageMaker, etc.).
* Python development using frameworks and libraries for services and AI, including FastAPI, FastMCP, LangGraph, and AWS Strands.
* Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (OpenTelemetry, Grafana, NewRelic, or similar).
* Ability to work with Data Lakes and structure data for consumption by AI applications.
**Desirable:**
---------------
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
* Experience with AWS SageMaker for training and experimentation of traditional AI models.
* DevOps background — Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
* Experience with AI orchestration platforms (LiteLLM, OpenWebUI, or similar).
* AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate or Professional).
* MBA or postgraduate degree in technology, data, or business-related fields.
**Additional information**
* Meal allowance and/or food voucher;
* SESI and SESC health and wellness benefits, providing access to healthcare, wellbeing, and leisure services;
* Partnerships with educational institutions offering exclusive discounts on courses and academic programs;
* Opportunities for career growth and participation in strategic projects;
* Opportunity to work at a rapidly expanding market company.
