We are looking for a Rotating Equipment Engineer Specialist to provide specialized technical support for pumps and compressors across all assets, ensuring operational safety and efficiency. You will be responsible for investigating equipment failures, proposing improvements, and managing the implementation of solutions. #LI-JZ1 #LI-ONSITE **Responsibilities and Duties** * Provide specialized technical support for the operation and maintenance of pumps and compressors across assets; * On-site monitoring of critical interventions on pumps and compressors; * Conduct technical investigations into pump and compressor failures, applying root cause analysis methodologies; * Document and communicate investigation results to prevent future occurrences, issuing comprehensive technical reports and fleet alerts; * Identify opportunities for improvement in rotating equipment and propose solutions that optimize performance and reliability; * Audit and verify the implementation of corrective and preventive actions to extend equipment service life; * Monitor technological advancements, manufacturer recommendations, and industry maintenance practices to ensure the use of modern and efficient techniques; * Recommend updates and adaptations to procedures in line with innovation trends and best practices; * Contribute to the continuous development of team competencies in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and automation of rotating systems; * Deliver training and capacity-building sessions to strengthen the team’s knowledge of pump and compressor maintenance; * Document all interventions, studies, and implemented improvements for historical records and future reference; * Periodically review maintenance procedures and practices to pursue continuous process improvement. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Engineering degree; * Advanced knowledge of the fundamental operating principles of rotating equipment; * Advanced knowledge of liquid and gas behavior in pumping and compression systems; * Thorough understanding of vibrations, balancing, and dynamic behaviors of rotating equipment; * Familiarity with predictive techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonics, and oil analysis; * Proficiency in root cause analysis (RCA) methods to diagnose and resolve rotating equipment failures; * Knowledge of materials used in rotating equipment—including their mechanical and chemical properties—as well as applicable material standards; * Understanding of lubricant types, lubrication techniques, and issues related to wear and lubrication failure; * Familiarity with standards such as API and ISO applicable to pumps and compressors; * Advanced English proficiency. **Additional Information** **What is the selection process like at PRIO?** We like to get to know you before the interview, so during the registration stage we ask you to complete several assessments to evaluate your cultural fit with PRIO :) Next, our HR team will schedule a conversation with you.
