The RMC Specialist – Diesel Engines will perform remote monitoring of systems and provide specialized technical support to crews, conducting analyses, diagnostics, and troubleshooting to ensure operational performance and reliability of assets in the offshore sector.

Description: In the offshore sector, RMC (Remote Monitoring and Control) refers to the remote monitoring and control of critical systems aboard vessels, platforms, or other maritime installations. This process utilizes sensors, software, and communication networks to remotely monitor and manage equipment such as engines, electrical systems, propulsion, and power generation.
The RMC Specialist – Diesel Engines will be part of BRAM Offshore’s maintenance team, directly performing remote monitoring of these systems. Their mission is to provide specialized technical support to crews by conducting analyses, diagnostics, and troubleshooting actions to ensure asset operational performance and reliability.

Responsibilities and Duties
* Perform remote diagnostics of diesel engines using specific monitoring systems;
* Analyze collected performance data to identify failures, deviations, or irregularities in engine and generator systems;
* Provide technical recommendations for preventive and corrective maintenance, operational adjustments, or replacement of critical components;
* Support, remotely or, when necessary, on-site, maintenance activities for diesel engines, ensuring continuous and safe equipment operation;
* Support, remotely or, when necessary, on-site, detailed performance and quality testing of diesel engines;
* Support diesel engine upgrade projects, including retrofit projects, to improve efficiency and compliance with new regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Automation Engineering;
* Experience in the maritime or offshore sector.
* Intermediate/advanced English proficiency;
* Willingness to reside in Campos dos Goytacazes (RJ);
