Every day, your creativity, personality, and contributions will shape our future, making a positive difference in the lives of billions of people. **Job Responsibilities** Under supervision, inspect and analyze raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with product safety regulations, specifications, and standards. * Perform chemical, physical, and sensory evaluations of received products or ingredients as specified in Givaudan’s current specification for the item; * Conduct sensory evaluations of products; * Enter test results into SAP promptly, resulting in acceptance or rejection; * Communicate rejections and information updates to key contacts in Quality, Operations, Procurement, and Customer Service as needed. Communication methods include email, system notes, and/or verbal communication; * Perform basic equipment calibrations according to frequencies indicated in calibration procedures; * Troubleshoot instrument, equipment, and quality deviations in the laboratory; * Maintain a hygienic and safe working environment; * Provide support and coverage to team members when required; * Identify opportunities for improvement in Quality Control and define proactive measures to prevent issues. **Requirements** * Availability to work 100% onsite in Botucatu; * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or related fields; * Relevant professional experience (actual); * English proficiency for technical reading; * Knowledge of laboratory techniques and/or Quality Control; * Operational experience and strong familiarity with laboratory systems, analytical equipment, and instruments such as precision balances, densimeters, refractometers, moisture analyzers, Karl Fischer titrators, and sieves; * Knowledge of HPLC; **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with the SAP system; * Knowledge of Gas Chromatography; **Benefits** * Medical and dental plans for you and your dependents; * Private pension plan; * Life insurance; * On-site cafeteria; * Free parking, shuttle service, or transportation allowance; * Wellhub; * Daycare allowance (for women with children up to 5 years and 11 months); * Pharmaceutical assistance; * Employee Assistance Program — confidential, specialized support and guidance in legal, psychological, financial, and social areas. **At Givaudan, we value diversity and believe that a variety of perspectives enriches our workplace.
