Collaborate with the team to enhance applications and ensure code quality ### **About the Opportunity** **We are seeking a Junior PHP Developer to work on a project focused on maintaining and evolving legacy systems.** **The candidate will work alongside a mid-level developer already part of the client's team, supporting the maintenance of existing applications and contributing to continuous improvements.** ### **Responsibilities:** * Maintain legacy PHP systems * Develop improvements and fixes (bug fixing) * Work with MySQL databases, including query creation and optimization * Support requirement analysis and business rule understanding * Collaborate with the team's mid-level developer to enhance applications * Ensure code quality and adherence to development best practices ### **Required Qualifications:** * Experience with PHP * Knowledge of MySQL * Experience maintaining legacy systems * Familiarity with version control (Git) * Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously ### **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, or similar) * Basic front-end knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) * Prior experience in production system support/maintenance * Familiarity with coding best practices and code organization **We aim to provide our team with a welcoming, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
