Job Summary: Professional responsible for performing evolutionary and corrective maintenance on legacy PHP systems, developing improvements, integrating APIs, and working within a multidisciplinary team focused on problem resolution. Focus on analysis and problem resolution Description: Requirements for our perfect match: * Completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields; * Proven practical experience of at least four years in PHP application development and maintenance, especially in legacy systems; * Solid knowledge of both older and newer PHP versions, as well as classic frameworks (e.g., Zend, CakePHP, CodeIgniter, Symfony, or Laravel); * Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle); * Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and continuous integration practices; * Ability to work with legacy code, refactoring when necessary; * Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset to work effectively in teams; * Analytical profile, resilience, and focus on problem resolution. Desirable: * Experience with PL/SQL. Day-to-day responsibilities include: * Evolutionary and Corrective Maintenance: Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance on legacy PHP systems, ensuring stability, performance, and alignment with business needs; * Analysis and Problem Resolution: Identify bugs, investigate root causes, and implement efficient solutions; * Development of Improvements: Implement enhancements to existing functionalities and address new business requirements; * API and Service Integration: Ensure proper integration of PHP systems with external APIs, databases, and other systems; * Technical Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation describing implemented changes and enhancements; * Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including QA, product, and other developers to ensure aligned, high-quality deliveries; * Development Best Practices: Apply best practices for version control, testing, and code review, even in legacy environments. 2511120202181621467
