Job Summary: Work on evolutionary and corrective maintenance of legacy PHP systems, analysis and resolution of issues, development of improvements, API integration, technical documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Collaborative work and focus on problem solving Description: What we need for our perfect match: * Completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields; * Proven practical experience of at least four years in PHP application development and maintenance, especially in legacy systems; * Solid knowledge of both older and newer PHP versions, as well as classic frameworks (e.g., Zend, CakePHP, CodeIgniter, Symfony, or Laravel); * Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle); * Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and continuous integration practices; * Ability to work with legacy code, refactoring when necessary; * Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively in teams; * Analytical, resilient profile with strong focus on problem solving. Desirable: * Experience with PL/SQL. In your daily work, you will handle the following processes: * Evolutionary and Corrective Maintenance: Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance on legacy PHP systems, ensuring stability, performance, and alignment with business needs; * Analysis and Problem Solving: Identify bugs, investigate root causes, and implement efficient solutions; * Development of Improvements: Implement enhancements to existing features and address new business requirements; * API and Service Integration: Ensure proper integration of PHP systems with external APIs, databases, and other systems; * Technical Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation describing changes and developments implemented; * Team Collaboration: Work alongside multidisciplinary teams such as QA, product, and other developers to ensure aligned, high-quality deliveries; * Development Best Practices: Apply best practices in version control, testing, and code review, even in legacy environments. 2511120202181621467
