PEDAGOGICAL ADVISOR Job Mission The educational advisor must be an ethical professional with emotional balance and strong listening skills, as they directly support students, families, and teachers. It is essential to hold a degree in Education, with knowledge of human development, adolescence, and learning processes. Conflict mediation, respectful dialogue, and responsible decision-making are part of the daily responsibilities. Advisors must be organized, responsible, and proactive—ensuring follow-up on consultations, documentation, and feedback to families, while maintaining clear and welcoming communication with the entire school community. Responsibilities Conduct case screening for referral to SEAP (if necessary), preparing monthly service reports (number of individuals served, reasons, and referrals) to assist course coordinators when student support requires mentoring or psychological assistance; Provide individual counseling to students to promote their personal and professional development. Plan and lead group activities (workshops) to stimulate the development/refinement of skills essential for students’ academic, professional, and personal success.
