Perform development-related activities such as analysis and design, programming, testing, and requirements gathering. Manage your own work by promptly alerting the team to potential delays or other impediments. **SKILLS** Proactivity; ability to work in teams; self-management and decision-making skills; communication skills (ability to express oneself clearly and precisely, both orally and in writing, and to easily understand written and spoken messages); strong investigative and complex problem-solving abilities; abstraction skills; ability to understand information systems functionality through experimentation/observation. **KNOWLEDGE/ACTIVITIES** a) Principles and practices of agile software development, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban; b) Analysis of functional, non-functional, and agile requirements; c) Familiarity with tools used for COBOL testing and test automation; d) Programming skills in Enterprise COBOL 4.0 or higher; e) Knowledge of IBM platforms (z/OS, DB2, CICS, JCL, TSO, MainView, Strobe, Control-M); f) Experience working as an analyst on mainframe platforms; g) Knowledge of relational database modeling and database performance analysis; h) Knowledge of VSAM data files; i) Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA); j) Knowledge of mainframe application code quality and performance analysis; k) Experience using CICS interfaces, CICS/WEB, Broker, and MQ Series; l) Software testing: unit, integration, system/functional, acceptance/user story, load, performance, vulnerability, usability, and accessibility testing.
