Job Summary: A professional responsible for conducting sampling, analysis, operational rounds, and maintenance on water treatment systems, boilers, and cooling towers, ensuring equipment functionality and safety. Growth opportunities in a diverse and inclusive environment **Position:** Field Technician I **Work Location:** Capivari de Baixo \- SC **Work Model:** Shift-based \- 6x4 schedule **Main Responsibilities:** * Conduct sample collection and laboratory analysis related to WTP, cooling tower, and boiler systems. * Perform operational rounds on WTP, cooling tower, and boiler systems. * Calibrate pumps. * Monitor daily consumables usage and communicate with representatives. * Control reagents, dosing, and consumables. * Responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment and assets. * Inspect all equipment daily/weekly to ensure no issues arise. * Monitor field equipment calibration. * Participate in, and occasionally lead, Daily Safety Talks (DDS). * Identify and log safety observations into the safety dashboard. **Primary Responsibilities:** * Maintain updated KPIs; * Record laboratory analyses performed and implement corrective actions whenever necessary. * Agile and accurate communication. * Prepare activity reports. * Ensure proper application of chemical products and optimal system operation. * Participate in safety meetings and report inconsistencies as needed. * Contribute to a productive and harmonious work environment. * Keep training records and safety observations up to date. * Ensure compliance with contractual parameters. **Requirements:** * **Education:** Completed technical course in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related fields. * **Technical Experience:** Prior experience in water treatment plant (WTP) operations, boilers, and cooling towers. * **Specific Knowledge:** Knowledge of chemical dosing, reagent handling, and field laboratory analysis. * **Maintenance:** Skills in preventive and corrective maintenance of pumps and measurement/dosing equipment. * **Computer Skills:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for KPI and dashboard control). * **Availability:** Full availability to work under a 6x4 shift schedule. * **Residence:** Willingness to work in the Capivari de Baixo \- SC region. **Behavioral Requirements:** * **Commitment to Safety:** Keen critical sense to identify risks, adherence to safety standards (PPEs/collective protective equipment), and proactive reporting of safety concerns. * **Attention to Detail:** Technical rigor in controlling dosages and analyses to strictly comply with contractual parameters. * **Assertive Communication:** Ability to clearly and efficiently convey technical information to team members and representatives. * **Autonomy and Proactivity:** Ability to identify process inconsistencies and independently take immediate corrective actions. * **Teamwork:** Collaborative attitude aimed at contributing to a productive, harmonious, and results-oriented work environment. * **Organization and Time Management:** Discipline to maintain daily routines including operational rounds, report completion, and consumables inventory control without missing deadlines. **About Solenis** We are a specialty chemical company that tackles complex challenges daily in water treatment, process improvement, and hygiene for customers across consumer, industrial, institutional, food & beverage, and swimming pool & spa markets — powered by people, experience, and technology.
