Job Summary: The Examination Technician will be responsible for performing laboratory, ultrasound, cardiological, and other diagnostic examinations and procedures with precision, ensuring patient safety and comfort while collaborating with medical and administrative teams. The Examination Technician will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, supporting and accompanying patients during ultrasound examinations, cardiological examinations (e.g., electrocardiogram, Holter monitoring, and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring), as well as other diagnostic procedures—executed precisely, carefully, and courteously—to guarantee patient safety, comfort, and confidence. The role also includes welcoming patients and scheduling examinations and procedures. The technician will collaborate closely with medical and administrative teams to contribute to the clinic’s excellence in patient care. Technical Competencies * Technical course in Nursing, Radiology, Clinical Analysis, or a related field (as required by the type of examination performed); * Active professional registration (COREN, CRTR, or equivalent, where applicable); * Prior experience conducting examinations in clinics, hospitals, or laboratories; * Knowledge of patient preparation, positioning, and guidance; * Proficiency in handling, calibrating, and performing basic maintenance of equipment; * Basic computer literacy and familiarity with examination management systems; * Understanding of biosafety principles and hygiene protocols. Job Responsibilities * Conducting examinations according to technical protocols and medical instructions; * Preparing and guiding patients before, during, and after examinations; * Operating and maintaining examination equipment; * Accurately recording results and information in the system; * Supporting organization and workflow in the examination room; * Ensuring compliance with biosafety standards; * Collaborating with clinical teams to integrate patient care. * Welcoming and receiving patients courteously and efficiently; * Scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments and examinations via phone, WhatsApp, or in person; * Providing clear information regarding procedures, schedules, and medical instructions; * Organizing patient files, medical records, and authorizations; * Monitoring and updating patient flow in coordination with clinical departments; * Assisting with cash closing and simple collections (when necessary); * Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
