You act strategically, influencing architecture, technical standards, and critical data-driven decisions. **Your key responsibilities:** * Design, develop, and maintain **scalable data pipelines** using Azure services * Implement **data ingestion, transformation, and processing solutions** (batch and streaming) * Contribute to designing **modern data architectures** (Data Lake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse) * Develop and optimize processes using **Azure Data Factory**, **Azure Synapse Analytics**, and **Databricks** * Work with large volumes of structured and unstructured data * Ensure **data quality, reliability, and governance** * Implement best practices for **security, version control, and monitoring** * Collaborate with Analytics, BI, Data Science, and business teams * Participate in **code reviews**, definition of technical standards, and mentoring of junior engineers * Support the evolution of the data platform, targeting **performance improvements and cost reduction** **What we expect:** * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field * Solid experience as a **Data Engineer** (senior level) * Strong knowledge of **Microsoft Azure**, including: (Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2), Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL / SQL Server) * Proficiency in **advanced SQL** * Experience with **Python and/or PySpark** * Solid understanding of **data modeling** (relational and dimensional) * Experience with **ETL / ELT** * Hands-on experience with **distributed architectures** and large-scale data processing * Knowledge of **Git / source code versioning** * Experience with **CI/CD** (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.) * Understanding of **Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Security** concepts * Analytical mindset and solution-oriented approach * Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration * Proactivity and strong sense of ownership * Ability to operate effectively in complex and dynamic environments * Strategic data vision * Technical mentoring and leadership **Nice-to-have qualifications:** * Experience with **data streaming** (Event Hubs, Kafka, Spark Streaming) * Knowledge of **Power BI** or other visualization tools * Experience with **Infrastructure as Code** (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) * Azure certifications (e.g., **DP-203 – Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure**) * Experience in **Big Data / Cloud Native** environments * Technical English for reading and communication **What we offer:** A comprehensive benefits package, competitive salary, and our core values make DXC one of the most important and attractive employers worldwide.
