We are a team composed of **people who see beyond the obvious!** **Responsibilities and duties** **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Prevent and mitigate cyber threats by proactively protecting systems and networks against malicious activity. * Analyze and assess network events and system anomalies within a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment, using security tools to detect and prevent intrusions. * Monitor and fine-tune security alerts generated by devices such as SIEM, IPS, and firewalls, creating and following playbooks for incident triage and escalation. * Collaborate with Level 2+ analysts on cybersecurity threat research and investigations, applying an investigative and inquisitive approach. * Respond to incidents, requests, problems, and changes related to managed solutions. * Produce analytical reports on security events and incidents, and support the development and maintenance of KPIs. * Participate in operational cadence meetings with clients and track progress on new projects. **AUTHORITY:** * Analyze and adjust cybersecurity alerts and act in incident prevention and response within your area of responsibility. * Participate in decision-making for incident triage and alert escalation according to established security playbooks. * Propose improvements to security processes and tools, contributing to the effectiveness of SOC operations. **Requirements and qualifications** **EDUCATION:** * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or another field is preferred. **EXPERIENCE:** * Knowledge of computer networking and IT infrastructure, with a focus on information security and cybersecurity; * Desired experience in customer support and service delivery using ticketing and incident management systems; * Practical experience or knowledge in SOC environments and security tools such as SIEM, IPS, and firewalls. **SKILLS:** * Analytical and investigative mindset for handling security events; * Desired certifications: CompTIA Security+, ITIL, LPI-I, and LPI-II; * Communication skills for participating in meetings and interactions with clients and teams; * Ability to create and update playbooks and analytical reports to support SOC operational work; * Intermediate English proficiency for reading documentation and providing operational support. **Additional information** **BENEFITS OF BEING VISION!** At Vision, security starts with people.
