The Information Technology Assistant is responsible for supporting the maintenance and support of systems and IT equipment, ensuring the proper functioning of the company's technological infrastructure.
This professional works under supervision, performing operational tasks and contributing to the resolution of technical issues.
**SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Install and configure software and hardware following established procedures and standards;
* Assist with technical support for users, responding to service requests and resolving information technology-related issues;
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on IT equipment, such as computers, printers, and networks;
* Participate in system implementation projects, supporting test execution and process documentation;
* Perform data backups and ensure information security, adhering to the company's security policies;
* Support IT asset management by maintaining inventories and ensuring the availability of technological resources;
* Collaborate in preparing reports and performance indicators for the information technology area;
* Stay updated on emerging technologies and market trends, seeking to enhance knowledge and skills;
**Requirements:**
* Technical or higher education (completed or currently pursuing) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields;
* Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP);
* Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems;
* Preferred: prior experience with ticketing systems (Help Desk/Service Desk);
* Logical reasoning and agility in addressing requests;
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
