Job Summary:
Work in general mechanical maintenance to ensure equipment availability and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance routines.

Work in the field of general mechanical maintenance, observing specific technical criteria to keep equipment available for operations/production through execution of maintenance routines.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Conduct routine inspections to diagnose the condition and operational status of mechanical equipment;
* Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on all equipment and associated accessories to ensure proper functionality;
* Fabricate mechanical assemblies, machines, and equipment according to drawings, based on requesting department requirements;
* Perform maintenance on electric motors, motor\-pumps, and de\-energized equipment, including replacement of mechanical seals, bearings, and bushings;
* Perform lubrication, adjustments, and calibrations on all mechanical and pneumatic equipment per machine specifications, using appropriate instruments;
* Record repairs performed and parts replaced for control purposes;
* Inspect bearing condition and replace them as necessary, according to established standards;
* Maintain equipment and spare parts data and references;
* Mark, drill, tap, cut parts manually and mechanically for fabrication of parts and machines;
* Perform cutting and welding tasks on metallic parts;
* Perform welding in all positions on ferrous and non\-ferrous materials;
* Work on preparation of metal structures;
* Grind, shape, and handle welding materials;
* Protect glass or acrylic parts, hoses, and electrical components when performing grinding and welding spatter operations;
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Completed high school education;
* Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering;
* NR 12;
* NR 33;
* NR 35;
* Welding certification
