The Expropriation and Interference Coordinator plans, executes, and oversees expropriation and interference removal processes for highway construction projects, managing social impacts and ensuring legal compliance.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
As **EXPROPRIATION AND INTERFERENCE COORDINATOR**, you will be responsible for:
Developing and implementing the expropriation and interference removal management plan, defining procedures, resources, and responsibilities.
Monitoring and supervising service execution to ensure alignment with designs, technical standards, and specifications.
Coordinating the expropriation process for land required for highway construction or expansion, including property valuation, negotiation with owners, and obtaining permits.
Coordinating the removal of interferences, such as buildings, power lines, pipelines, and other elements obstructing construction.
Managing social impacts arising from expropriations and removals, seeking solutions for family resettlement and minimizing disruptions.
Ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and technical standards governing expropriation and removal processes.
Developing and monitoring the resettlement plan for affected families, guaranteeing dignified housing and livelihood conditions where necessary following negotiations.
Maintaining contact with public agencies, communities, and other stakeholders, providing information and clarifying inquiries.
Preparing and maintaining technical reports and documents related to expropriation and removal processes.
Planning, organizing, and controlling all stages of the expropriation and interference removal process.
Identifying and resolving conflicts constructively and efficiently.
Supporting the preparation of response letters to regulatory agencies’ and contractors’ submissions/requests.
Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with expropriations and removals.
Reviewing designs, technical specifications, standards, and contracts to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Monitoring project costs to ensure expenditures remain within the approved budget.
Analyzing deviations and non-conformities identified on-site, proposing and overseeing implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Continuously seeking ways to optimize processes and team quality efficiency.
Managing documents and records.
In-depth knowledge of Brazilian standards, such as ABNT, and specific regulations for highway projects, including safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
Mapping and identifying all types of interferences and developing executive designs that identify existing interferences within the right-of-way.
Obtaining necessary authorizations and permits for interference removal, including approval of relocation designs.
Contracting and managing specialized companies for interference removal, equipped with qualified personnel and equipment.
**Requirements and Qualifications** **It is important that you have:**
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Microsoft Office Suite;
Power BI;
AutoCAD knowledge;
Driver’s license category B.
**It will be a plus if you have:**
Experience in Highway Construction Projects;
Knowledge of Real Estate Appraisal.
