




Job Summary: A professional responsible for constructing, assembling, and repairing wooden structures, furniture, and objects—ranging from handcrafted production to operating woodworking machinery. Responsible for organizing, maintaining, and estimating work costs. **CARPENTER POSITION:** **JOB DESCRIPTION:** Construct, assemble, and repair wooden structures, furniture, and similar items according to project plans, drawings, or written specifications; fabricate components manually or with appropriate tools and machinery; prepare and install flooring, wall framing, ceiling joists, and roof rafters; fabricate and assemble doors, windows, and frames; prepare and install door and window frames; cut and install glass; repair window sashes; install locks; construct and assemble scaffolding; fabricate wooden forms for concrete application; repair cables and sharpen tools; organize material and equipment supply orders for the carpentry shop; operate woodworking machinery such as circular saws, band saws, routers, planers, thickness planers, etc.; ensure cleanliness, preservation, and proper functioning of machinery and tools, as well as maintenance and availability of raw materials; calculate carpentry job estimates; supervise assistant workers; perform other related and ancillary tasks. **Education and Experience:** Completion of elementary education plus a vocational training course, or completion of technical high school education accredited by the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC).
