Job Summary: The professional will monitor patients' conditions, conduct examinations, prescribe and administer treatments, record information in medical records, follow up on diagnostic tests, resolve issues, and implement public health initiatives. Providing patient care in accordance with the respective medical specialty * Monitor patients during on-call shifts by examining them, prescribing treatments, and administering therapies for various pathologies, applying scientifically accepted and recognized medical methods, following the Therapeutic Plan and Defined Protocols; * Record the diagnosis, treatment, and disease progression in the patient's medical record; * Accompany patients during their internal and external diagnostic tests; * Address existing patient issues during the on-call shift; * Hand over the on-call shift via a written or computerized report detailing each patient's status; * Issue various medical certificates, reports, and expert opinions as required by law; * Develop public health initiatives and participate in health surveillance processes to ensure service quality. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform duties while respecting the principles of the Medical Ethics Code and complying with work regulations established by the hospital's Internal Regulations; * Provide patient care in accordance with the respective medical specialty (Surgeon, Internal Medicine, Neonatology and Joint Rooming-in, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Orthopedics, Adult ICU, Neonatal ICU), adhering to the attending physician's guidance (Therapeutic Plan), with modifications permitted when necessary—important modifications must be documented in the patient's progress notes; * Comply with and enforce the on-call schedules established for the unit, observing designated working hours and applicable regulations; such schedules are prepared in advance by the Unit Coordinator, agreed upon with the clinical staff, and subsequently published; * During on-call shifts, manage admissions of patients assigned to the unit, completing medical records fully, requesting AIH (Authorization for Hospital Admission), complementary diagnostic tests, and medical prescriptions, among other tasks; * During on-call shifts, manage admissions of patients assigned to the unit, completing medical records fully, requesting AIH (Authorization for Hospital Admission), complementary diagnostic tests, and medical prescriptions, among other tasks; * Prepare a formal handover report at the conclusion of the on-call shift; departure from the shift without verbal handover is strictly prohibited, in compliance with the Medical Ethics Code; * Perform any other duties relevant to the position. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree in Medicine; * Active Regional Medical Council (CRM) registration; * Medical residency in the relevant field; The **SPDM** \- Paulista Association for the Development of Medicine is a non-profit, philanthropic civil association, officially recognized as being of federal, state, and municipal public utility, respectively under Decrees No. 57\.925, dated 03/04/1966; No. 40\.103, dated 05/17/1962; and No. 8\.911, dated 07/30/1970\.
