




Job Summary: An Occupational Safety Technician responsible for identifying hazards, proposing preventive measures, coordinating OSH programs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Compliance with Regulatory Standards (NRs) * Title: * Occupational Safety Technician * Education: Technical qualification in Occupational Safety (mandatory); Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields is desirable; * Specific knowledge and skills: Industry experience and practical exposure are desirable; Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint); Ability to interpret technical documents such as Risk Assessment Program (PGR), Technical Report on Working Conditions (LTCAT), Occupational Health Monitoring Program (PCMSO), and occupational reports; Capability to develop and analyze OSH indicators and propose action plans; Knowledge of accident investigation and analysis, as well as preventive and corrective measures; Experience delivering mandatory training such as NR 33, NR 35, and NR 11; Experience preparing Job Hazard Analyses (APR), Work Permits, Lockout/Tagout procedures. * Responsibilities: 1\. Analyze environmental conditions, work methods, and processes to identify hazards and propose preventive measures. 2\. Conduct periodic inspections of areas, machinery, equipment, and processes; issue technical opinions and monitor action plans. 3\. Ensure compliance with Regulatory Standards. 4\. Coordinate and supervise the Emergency Brigade, ensuring adequate structure, training, drills, and readiness for response. 5\. Support and manage CIPA activities, ensuring compliance with NR 05, attending meetings, awareness campaigns, and educational programs. 6\. Evaluate, approve, and control the use of Collective Protective Equipment (CPE) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including uniform distribution and control records. 7\. Develop, review, and monitor preventive and corrective OSH programs, ensuring their effectiveness and legal compliance. 8\. Investigate accidents and near-misses, identify root causes, issue Accident Communication Forms (CAT) where applicable, and propose corrective and preventive actions. 9\. Monitor and analyze OSH indicators, propose continuous improvements, and report results. 10\. Review and update the Emergency Response Plan, coordinate drills, and ensure effective responses. 11\. Support implementation and monitoring of statutory OSH programs, such as PGR, PCMSO, PCA, PPR, LTCAT, and ergonomic assessments. 12\. Onboard new employees and third-party personnel through safety training and orientation on internal rules. 13\. Supervise and monitor service providers and contractors to ensure compliance with safety requirements. 14\. Support internal and external OSH audits by preparing evidence, records, and action plans. 15\. Provide technical support during public authority inspections, ensuring compliance with current legislation. 16\. Contribute to risk analysis for new projects, process modifications, and equipment procurement. 17\. Develop, review, and standardize procedures, work instructions, and policies related to safety and environment, aligned with legal requirements and the Biodiesel Division’s strategy. 18\. Plan, deliver, and monitor technical and behavioral training sessions—or support hiring specialized instructors—ensuring documentation and recordkeeping.
