Your mission will be to develop new products based on technical, regulatory, or customer and stakeholder requirements—from research and development through industrialization. If you want to make a difference and contribute to the next generation of TRATON trucks—collaborating within a global cross-branding team alongside MAN, Navistar, and VWco—this is your opportunity!
**Responsibilities and Duties**

* Collaborate synergistically with R\&D sub-areas, Procurement, Customers, Suppliers, Production, Commercial Areas (TRATON’s value chain), group companies, and other interfacing departments in developing and continuously improving current products. Conduct technical meetings—either onsite or remotely—and analyze stakeholder demands regarding parts, components, systems, and complete products to meet customer needs and reconcile supplier and partner requirements—always aiming for continuous improvement.
* Document product development activities (modifications or introduction of new functionalities), updating TRATON-specific forms or systems (ECO, PDs, FRAS, 3Dexperience, etc.) to ensure updated information is accessible to any TRATON engineering department worldwide.
* Provide information to TRATON Global Product Engineering (Sweden, Germany, United States, and Brazil), reporting changes and/or improvements via internal systems, email, and/or onsite or remote meetings; support problem resolution, failures, or malfunctions to transfer field-use data from Latin America.

* Completed **Technical Education** in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or related fields; or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
* Knowledge of CAD tools for product development and 3D modeling—such as CATIA, NX, AutoCAD, etc. CATIA V5 experience is preferred, especially the *Electrical Harness Installation* (EHI) module for electrical engineers and/or *Sheet Metal Design* (SMD) and 3D modeling for mechanical engineers.

* Knowledge of CAN networks, power supply systems, and grounding—for electrical engineering;
**Soft Skills:** We seek a communicative individual with autonomy in development and proactivity in seeking information and supporting alignment—including with global teams—practicing assertive communication and active listening.
With a team-oriented and collaborative mindset, we value curiosity, continuous learning, and creative problem-solving grounded in logical reasoning—as well as critical thinking, adaptability, and flexibility in response to shifting priorities, emerging technologies, and market uncertainties.
