Administrative Nurse – Internal Regulation Unit (IRU) Opportunity Description We are seeking a professional with a Nursing degree and an analytical/strategic profile to join our **Internal Regulation Unit (IRU)** team. This position is fully dedicated to optimizing patient flow, managing bed occupancy, monitoring hospital performance indicators, and coordinating with health care networks. The role focuses on management processes and institutional intelligence, **with no frontline clinical responsibilities**. Responsibilities and Duties * **Bed Occupancy Management:** Monitor and optimize patient movement (admissions, discharges, external and internal transfers), ensuring efficient bed turnover. * **Interface with Regulation Networks:** Serve as the technical liaison with external Bed Regulation Centers, managing registrations and transfer authorizations within the system. * **Clinical Indicator Analysis:** Systematically map and track IRU indicators (e.g., Average Length of Stay, Occupancy Rate, Bed Replacement Interval, and Waiting Time). * **Internal Process Auditing:** Ensure the quality and accuracy of documentary records and technical justifications related to regulation activities. * **Contingency Planning:** Develop and implement institutional strategies to mitigate inpatient bottlenecks and optimize available hospital resources. * **Multidisciplinary Alignment:** Lead daily (huddles) or periodic technical meetings with clinical unit coordinators to align operational capacity. Requirements and Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (active and valid registration with COREN). * Technical knowledge of the Unified Health System (SUS) and national bed regulation guidelines. * Excellent written communication skills, technical writing proficiency, and ability to compile formal reports and justifications. * Systemic perspective, strong data analytical capability, and ability to interpret health regulations and normative documents. * Problem-solving orientation, agility, emotional intelligence, and outstanding negotiation/interpersonal communication skills with physicians and leadership.
