Warehouse Supervisor

Description

Monitor and carry out activities related to receiving, inspection, storage, inventory control, and shipment of materials to customers, aiming to ensure appropriate stock levels and work quality in accordance with company standards and procedures. **Responsibilities and duties** * Monitor and carry out material handling operations, defining the appropriate transportation method for each type of cargo; * Plan the arrangement of stored materials to facilitate identification, location, and handling; * Conduct inventory inspections and activities together with the team; * Establish staffing schedules aligned with required operational movements; * Supervise employee shifts and attendance; * Ensure that tasks outlined in the Work Guidance Document are being executed; * Ensure that occupational health and safety regulations are complied with by the team; * Conduct and/or support daily safety dialogues with the team; * Maintain contact with transport companies and suppliers regarding material deliveries and returns; * Gather information from internal customers about material priorities to guide dispatch scheduling and the teams under supervision; * Interact with customers, address their requests, and ensure delivery deadlines are met; * Guide/train the team in performing their duties. **Requirements and qualifications** * Completed high school education; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; * Experience in logistics and/or warehouse operations; * Experience in people management. **Additional information** We offer a competitive benefits package, which **may vary** depending on the operation/contract: * Medical assistance; * Life insurance; * Funeral assistance; * Meals (meal voucher and/or food voucher); * Transportation (transportation voucher or company-provided shuttle); * Partnerships with educational institutions; * Development and well-being programs; * Profit and Results Sharing Program (PRP), subject to achievement of established goals. **Important:** * Benefits granted per employment contract and/or collective agreement; * Benefits **may not be** cumulative; * Specific conditions will be communicated during the selection process and upon hiring.
