Description
The Pharmacy Attendant is the professional responsible for assisting with customer service, store organization, and supporting daily operations in a pharmacy or drugstore. This position requires attention to detail, proactivity, and strong interpersonal skills.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* **Customer Service:** Greet and assist customers in-store, helping them locate products (over-the-counter medications, personal hygiene items, cosmetics, etc.) and providing general information about the pharmacy. Clarify simple questions regarding the use and storage of non-medicinal products.
* **Organization and Restocking:** Maintain orderly shelves, counters, and gondolas, ensuring products are always displayed clearly and accessibly. Restock inventory, checking expiration dates and flagging the need for new orders.
* **Basic Inventory Control:** Assist in verifying and receiving goods, checking quantities and product conditions. Notify the pharmacist or manager about products nearing expiration.
* **Cash Register Operations:** Record sales in the system, accept payments (cash, credit/debit cards, PIX), issue fiscal invoices and receipts. Perform cash closing when requested.
* **Support to the Pharmacist:** Provide necessary assistance to the pharmacist, such as prescription preparation, document organization, and other basic administrative tasks.
* **Hygiene and Cleaning:** Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the store environment, guaranteeing a pleasant and safe space for customers and staff.
**Working Hours**
* **Monday to Saturday:** 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
* **Sundays:** 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Rotating schedule).
* **Days Off:** Rotating schedule (one Sunday off for every two Sundays worked). Employees working on Sundays receive a compensatory weekday day off
