




**Job Purpose:** Cut, assemble, and finish garments or other textile products by operating sewing machines and performing finishing tasks according to patterns, technical sheets, and quality standards defined by the company. Ensure productivity, quality, and adherence to established deadlines. Key Responsibilities **1. Sewing Preparation:** Receive production batches and verify patterns, cut pieces, and accessories. Organize the workbench with required materials and tools. Adjust the sewing machine settings according to fabric type and stitch specifications. **2. Sewing Execution:** Operate straight-stitch, overlock, binding, elastic, or other sewing machines as required by the product. Assemble and sew pieces following the technical sheet and instructions from the team leader or supervisor. Ensure correct sequence of operations and proper finishing of pieces. **3. Quality Control:** Verify measurements, seams, finishes, and reinforcements against established standards. Correct any defects during the process. Isolate and report pieces with cutting, fabric, or sewing defects. **4. Maintenance and Safety:** Perform basic cleaning and lubrication of the sewing machine. Correctly use PPE, where applicable. Follow safety regulations for machine operation. **5. Organization and Productivity:** Maintain a clean and organized workstation. Commitment to goals and deadlines. **Job Requirements** **Education:** Completed elementary school. Experience: Prior experience as a sewing machine operator in garment manufacturing is desirable. **Desired Technical Knowledge:** Operation of various types of sewing machines. Knowledge of different fabric types and stitch adjustment. Ability to interpret technical sheets. Finishing and reinforcement techniques. Performance Indicators (KPIs): Number of pieces produced per period. Quality of pieces (low defect and rework rate). On-time delivery performance.
