Opportunity to propose technical improvements and ensure quality. **Position Summary – Pilot Garment Technician** We seek a **Pilot Garment Technician** with high technical expertise, responsible for constructing pilot garments that serve as the basis for mass production. This professional plays a critical role in validating modeling, construction, and finishing of garments, ensuring quality, fit, and production feasibility. They will work closely with Modeling, Design, and Production teams, directly contributing to product development aligned with brand standards. **Responsibilities** * Construct pilot garments according to technical specifications and modeling guidelines. * Interpret patterns, technical specifications, and sewing instructions. * Perform complete garment assembly to a high finishing standard. * Identify and flag necessary adjustments to modeling or construction. * Suggest technical improvements aimed at enhancing quality and production feasibility. * Collaborate with the modeling team during fittings and adjustments. * Ensure fidelity of the pilot garment to the original design and product concept. * Test different finishing techniques and sewing methods when required. **Hard Skills** * Proven experience as a pilot garment technician in apparel manufacturing. * Proficiency in industrial sewing (straight stitch, overlock, binding, etc.). * Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and patterns. * Knowledge of garment construction (knits and/or tailoring). * Basic understanding of pattern making and fit adjustments. * High standard of finishing and technical detail.
