**ABOUT THE POSITION** * Sew the first sample of each model following the technical sheet, technical drawing, and the pattern maker’s instructions. * Ensure the prototype accurately represents what will be mass-produced. * Assemble complex garments with a high level of finishing. * Read and interpret patterns, sewing specifications, and finishing details. * Anticipate difficulties or inconsistencies in the pattern. * Collaborate with pattern makers and designers to improve fit, alignment, and sewing techniques. * Practical hands-on sewing experience. * Experience in garment manufacturing. * Proficiency with various machines: straight-stitch, overlock, binding, bartack, interlock, etc. * Prior experience specifically as a pattern maker or pilotage assistant. * Ability to assemble complex garments from start to finish. * Capacity to understand instructions from pattern makers and designers. * Familiarity with pattern adjustments and technical suggestions. * Experience working with different fabric types. * Ability to adapt sewing techniques according to the material. Attention to detail, fit, and final aesthetics.
