Job Summary: A sewing professional responsible for operating sewing machines, garment construction and assembly, fittings, repairs, pattern making, cutting, and quality assurance. Key Highlights: 1. Operation and handling of various sewing machines. 2. Assembly of garment pieces and accessories. 3. Quality control and basic machine maintenance. **Main Duties and Responsibilities:** * **Machine Operation:** Prepare and operate sewing machines (straight stitch, overlock, specialty). * **Garment Construction:** Assemble garment pieces and accessories. * **Fittings and Repairs:** Perform mending, hems, zipper replacements, and size alterations. * **Pattern Making and Cutting:** Interpret technical drawings and cut fabrics based on patterns. * **Quality Assurance:** Inspect finished products, checking seams and finishes to ensure quality standards. * **Basic Maintenance:** Perform first-level machine maintenance, such as cleaning and needle replacement.
