Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to assist in fabric cutting and preparation, ensuring precision and minimizing waste. Key Highlights: 1. Assisting with fabric marking and auxiliary cutting with precision. 2. Organizing and sorting cut pieces by order/client. 3. Conducting quality control to identify fabric defects before cutting. We seek a detail-oriented and organized professional to provide direct support to the master cutter and production team. The main objective is to ensure fabrics are prepared and cut with maximum precision, respecting the specific requirements of each order and minimizing raw material waste. Main Responsibilities Marking Assistance: Positioning patterns according to instructions, respecting grain direction and fabric utilization. Auxiliary Cutting: Operating manual cutting machines or disc cutters for straight cuts and separation of smaller pieces (collars, cuffs, and plackets). Sorting and Organization: Organizing cut parts into packages by order/client, verifying that all components (front, back, sleeves, etc.) are present before sending to sewing. Quality Control: Identifying potential fabric defects (holes, stains, or pulled threads) before cutting. Workplace Maintenance: Ensuring cleanliness of the cutting table and organizing fabric scraps and rolls.
