Job Summary: A cutting assistant supports fabric and component preparation, including spreading, identifying, and organizing materials, ensuring support for cutters and the PCP team to meet deadlines and quality standards. Key Highlights: 1. Essential support in organizing and preparing fabrics and components. 2. Collaboration with cutters and PCP to meet deadlines and quality standards. 3. Active contribution to the organization and cleanliness of the cutting department. The cutting assistant supports activities within the cutting department by preparing, spreading, identifying, and organizing fabrics and components according to production orders. Ensures necessary support to cutters and the PCP team for meeting company-defined deadlines and quality standards. * Assist in preparing cutting tables by organizing fabrics, markings, and patterns as per scheduling; * Manually spread fabrics or use a spreading machine, ensuring proper alignment and tension; * Sort and identify fabrics, trims, and patterns according to production orders and specified nesting layouts; * Assist cutters during the cutting process, maintaining continuous workflow and material care; * Collect, count, and organize cut parts, verifying quantities and identifying potential defects; * Label and identify layers, batches, and sizes according to technical specifications and internal standards; * Organize and pack cut batches, correctly routing them to the sewing department or warehouse; * Support cleaning, maintenance, and organization of cutting tables, machines, and tools; * Restock daily-use supplies (plastic sheets, tapes, labels, chalk, etc.), keeping the department fully stocked; * Assist in moving fabric rolls, observing ergonomic and safety precautions;regularities; * Assist in moving fabric rolls, observing ergonomic and safety precautions; * Comply with department-established safety, quality, and productivity standards; * Immediately report any technical issues, material shortages, or non-conformities to the supervisor or cutter; * Contribute to smooth departmental operations by maintaining a collaborative attitude and results-oriented focus.
