Hotel Fazenda is seeking a Pastry Chef in Itu (Pedregulho). Fazenda Capoava is a venue offering rural tourism experiences and contact with nature. Located amidst vegetation, it provides activities such as horseback riding and hiking trails. **Responsibilities:** Assist the Pastry Chef in preparing breads and cakes for breakfast, desserts, savory snacks, cookies, etc. Assist the Head Chef, Cook I, and/or Salad Chef as needed. Understand and communicate the company's mission, vision, values, and responsibilities to the team. Understand and convey hotel-wide and department-specific policies and procedures. Share all relevant knowledge with coworkers. Maintain proper personal appearance and wear the uniform correctly. Assist in staff training. Assist the Pastry Chef in task delegation. Execute the daily menu together with the Pastry Chef. Thoroughly understand technical recipes. Assist the Pastry Chef in conducting weekly stock inventory. Organize and maintain stockroom order; in the Pastry Chef’s absence, report procurement needs and material outflows, submit material requisitions, and perform daily stock storage. Verify that requisitioned supplies and materials have arrived as specified. Assess raw material quality. Assist the Pastry Chef in conducting monthly inventory of tableware and linens within the department; in the Pastry Chef’s absence, report procurement needs when necessary. Assist the Pastry Chef in accurate product identification and verify that no expired or non-conforming products are present in the kitchen or pastry section. Previous experience as Pastry Chef, Pastry Assistant, Cake Decorator, or Pâtissier may indicate suitability for some of the duties in this position. High school diploma required.
