**What does the Procurement area do at Porto?**
Our Procurement area is the core function for acquiring products and services across all group companies. We operate from supplier qualification through to contract lifecycle management, ensuring optimal cost\-benefit ratios and alignment with business needs.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Demand Analysis and Management: Receive, analyze, and qualify requests for products/services; evaluate briefings; identify the need to develop new supply sources or direct requests to the existing portfolio.
* Market Research and Prospecting: Conduct in-depth market research and proactively prospect suppliers to identify the best service options and establish strategic partnerships.
* Supplier Management: Lead supplier pre\-selection and preparation of technical specifications for developed products, ensuring registration and standardization of specifications.
* Presentation and Negotiation: Present purchasing options to internal clients, highlighting advantages and disadvantages, and providing all relevant information regarding products, services, and suppliers.
* Process Optimization: Support internal clients in adopting best procurement practices by delivering consultative service and pursuing continuous improvement of procurement processes.
* Document Management: Maintain and organize all documentation related to opportunity processes for future reference.
* Compliance and Policy: Ensure adherence to company regulations, procedures, and the Procurement Policy, clarifying it whenever necessary.
* Interpersonal Relationships: Act with agility in problem resolution, flexibility, and balance, prioritizing quality service to internal clients and suppliers.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Education: Completed undergraduate degree (preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Economics, or related fields).
* Prior experience in Procurement, preferably in strategic procurement, contracting services across various categories (Financial and Insurance services are a plus), and within large-scale enterprises with structured processes.
* Excel: Intermediate to Advanced proficiency.
* Knowledge of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) analysis and Strategic Sourcing methodology.
* Familiarity with BI tools, strong analytical capability, and ability to generate insights and make data-driven decisions.
* Proficiency in systems such as Coupa, SAP ECC, Power BI, and Spend Analysis tools.
* Willingness to work onsite.
